French fries are one of the easiest, most delicious ways to enjoy Doug + Lily's custom made black + white C+K Truffle Salt.
BAKED FRENCH FRIES
Russet Potatoes (2-5 large)
C+K Saltery Truffle Salt
Saltery Black Pepper (optional)
We recommend using russet potatoes for this recipe, but you could also use sweet potatoes!
The healthiest way to make homemade fries is in the oven.
1. Prepare the potatoes.Cut the potatoes into matchsticks, either with a knife or with a french fry cutter.Place the potatoes in a bowl of cold water and let them soak for at least 30 minutes.Drain the water from the potatoes. Place the potatoes on a layer of paper towels and pat thoroughly with additional towels until dry.
2. Preheat your oven to 425 degrees f + line a sheet pan with foil. Coat the sheet pan with cooking spray or olive oil.
3. Drizzle 1/4 cup of vegetable oil over the fries and sprinkle with 2 teaspoons of Truffle Salt and if you choose, 5 pinches of Saltery black pepper. Toss the potatoes to coat. Bake for 25-30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until fries are golden brown.
