Saltery Pita Chips
Making Pita chips may be a classic or go to for a lot of people, but with Saltery there are so many new directions you can take them in!
To get started, preheat your oven to 425 degrees.
Next, slice your pita bread in half. Then, drizzle a bit of olive oil over each half and spread out evenly giving the pita a thin coating.
Now, choose your Saltery Salt!
Here are some of our favs to use:
-
Everything Salt
- Everything salt covers all the bases for what makes a good chip: salty, garlicy and seeds to bring texture.
-
Fire Salt
- The kick of cayenne pepper rounded out with cinnamon and ginger brings so much depth to these chips.
-
Summer Vibes
- Serving with hummus? Summer's lemon basil base pairs deliciously!
Once you've pick your salt, add a few pinches to your bread!
Cut up into triangles and place directly on a baking sheet. Pop them in the over for about 5 minutes- you can go longer until you see a light browning beginning.
Enjoy!
