Did Your Grandma Ever Tell You to Gargle with Salt Water?

Gargling with salt water is an old standby. There's a reason why those wise women and men before us used this practice to ward off sore throats and other ailments...because it works!

In its natural form, salt is THE BEST anti-microbial. (Sidebar: Because it naturally kills bacteria, salt can have a shelf life of up to 15 years). The macrominerals and trace minerals in our salt mimic the minerals present — and needed — in a healthy human's body composition.

And because our sea water is slowly evaporated (rather than processed), our pure sea salt retains calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, sodium, potassium, chloride, and sulfur — all critical macrominerals.

Try this ratio of salt to water (and you can always adjust based on your preference). 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of SalterieOne pure sea salt : 1 cup of warm water. Gargle for approximately 30 to 60 seconds.
