Our latest order from the Saltery included "Old Country" Greek seasoning. As others have discovered, testing on a variety of foods is a lot of fun. Since it is applicable on vegetables, I choose Corn-on-the-Cob as the first food candidate. Baked the corn, in its husk at 400F for 30 minutes. Butter placed all around the corn and then Old Country. What a marriage! Any seasoning that fell off the cob was soaked upby the butter on the plate and quickly goes back on the cob. Dining has become such fun with Saltery!
I wouldn’t typically reach for Greek seasoning so was surprised how much I liked this blend. I needed a bit more than expected to get the flavor right, but once I got it, the meal was hit with everyone! Really delicious.
Love this is one as a quick way to add flavor to meat. Seasonn and grill and you're done. So good!
The Old Country is now a new favorite. Love the seasoning combination. It taste great on Pork and Chicken. It was great in salad dressing. Looking forward to using it with many more dishes.
The perfect Greek seasoning – we use it on Greek salads and in Greek-style chicken and rice bowls with hummus, tzatziki, and veggies, but I'm sure it's good on just about anything!
