Position Title: Event Ambassador

Availability: Must be available weekends and evenings
Compensation: $20/hr + bonus incentive

Position Overview
Saltery is seeking an outgoing, dependable, and customer-focused Event Ambassador to represent our brand at our HQ in Duxbury, markets, pop-ups, tastings, and special events. This role is responsible for creating a welcoming customer experience, sharing the Saltery story, educating guests about our products, assisting with sales, and maintaining a polished event presentation. Ideal candidates are energetic, personable, organized, and comfortable engaging with customers in fast-paced environments. Weekend and seasonal availability required. Experience in retail, hospitality, food service, or events is preferred.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent the Saltery brand with professionalism, warmth, and enthusiasm
  • Welcome and engage customers at markets, pop-ups, tastings, and events
  • Educate guests about Saltery products, flavors, sourcing, and uses
  • Assist customers with product selection and purchases
  • Set up, maintain, and break down event displays and merchandising
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards throughout events
  • Process transactions accurately using POS systems
  • Support inventory management, restocking, and event preparation
  • Create a positive and memorable customer experience that drives repeat business

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work on your feet

  • Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel to the Boston Area and/or the Cape as needed
