Harvested from the mineral rich Celtic Sea🌊 off the coast of France, the water is channeled into shallow clay lined salt marshes called oeillets to be evaporated by the sun. ☀️ This process naturally results in a large grain size that retains a bit of its natural moisture.💧 It gets its color from the clay and algae in the salt marshes. Fun fact: the name denotes Ireland and Scotland origin🍀, but by modern day geography it is a product of France!
